COGITO at TEC ART, Rotterdam (NL), 7-11 February 2018
For TEC ART, the brain activity of participants was recorded while viewing the video created for the project and was transmitted into space by the Dwingeloo radio telescope, as part of an audio visual live performance streamed from the cabin, in collaboration with the radio operators of the CAMRAS team (more information: https://2018.tecart.nl/portfolio/daniela-de-paulis/).
COGITO at the Overview Symposium, 3 November 2017
The First International Overview Symposium was held at the Columbus Earth Center in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. This symposium aimed at sheding light on how the Overview Effect can be a game changer in human behavior towards a sustainable future. The objective was to explore the Overview Effect and how to apply this transformative power to sustainable thinking and social responsibility goals. The video created for COGITO 'in Space', in collaboration with Sandro Bocci, was projected onto the Earth Theatre for an immersive experience. Additionally, neuroscientist Robert Oostenveld recorded the brain activity of a few volunteers, demonstrating the scientific process of the project.
COGITO at GOGBOT, Enschede (NL), 7-10 September 2017
For GOGBOT, the brain activity of participants was recorded while viewing the video created for the project and was transmitted into space by the Dwingeloo radio telescope at a later date (more information: http://2017.gogbot.nl/portfolio/daniela-de-paulis/).
